Eligibility / Qualifications |
Applicant those who are holding the qualifications of Official Norms from board recognised are those who shall be eligible for applying for this post. For more details refer to the official notification.
Assistant Professor (Anaesthesia) :-
i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section-13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
ii) A postgraduate degrees in the concerned speciality as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications.
iii) At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar/Demonstrators / Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.
Extract of Part-A of Annexure-II :
M.D. or M.S. (Anaesthesiology) / F.F.A.R.C. (By examination with Anaesthesiology as a special subject, Specialty Board of Anaesthesiology (U.S.A.)
