- Applicants willing to apply must be postgraduate medical degree of MD /MS / DNB in relevant discipline from board recognized are those who are eligible to apply for this post.
- Applicants must had done MD/ DNB in discipline of Paediatrics / Neonatology.
- Applicants must keep the postgraduate Medical degree (MD/DNB) in General Medicine/Paediatrics or equivalent from board recognised.
- Applicants must be holding the postgraduate Medical degree (MS / DNB) in General Surgery or equivalent from board recognised.
- Applicants with M.Ch. / DNB in concerned specialty can also be eligible to apply.
- Applicants shall be possessing the postgraduate dental degree (MDS) from board recognised.

Applicants shortlisted by the board shall be eligible to receive the Basic Pay of Rs.67, 700 (Level 11) & usual allowances as admissible PM in 1st year (Total of approximately Rs.1, 10,000).
