- Spreading of India Post Payments Bank services, Postal products and services, different services provided by Customer Services Centres (CSC), procurement of business in the villages or Gram Panchayats in control of the Branch Post Office. With them organizing meals, door - to - door canvassing for business requirements is also involved
- Maintaining & Updating the records & devices
- Responsibilities of Branch Postmaster for functioning mail conveyance & mail delivery.
- The person should be an assistant to the Assistant Branch Post Master.
- To do the works assigned by their superiors.
ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM)
- Must be capable to do the combined duty of BPMs when they ordered.
- Sale of stamps / stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits / payments / other transactions of IPPB.
- Help for Branch Postmaster in counter duties using handheld device / mobile device / smartphone.

DAK SEVAK
- Could be working in sorting offices of Railway Mail Services.
- Shall be handling receiving and dispatching of mail bags & transshipment of bags in mail offices & Business offices by Dak Sevaks.
- Sale of stamps / stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits / payments / other transactions of IPPB, & any other work given by Postmaster / Sub Postmaster.
- Help Post Masters / Sub Postmasters in managing the Departmental Post Offices & had to do duties as assigned by authorities.
